Baja California Soils are mostly sand, clay and granite, and elevations range from 300 to 2,600 feet. A variety of grapes flourish here, primarily Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tempranillo, Grenache and Syrah for reds, and Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay for whites.
